The Integrated Weed Management (IWM) Conference 2025, held recently in the UK, brought together public sector professionals, researchers, and solution providers focused on more sustainable weed control practices. While the event may not yet be widely known in Finland, the topics it addressed are highly relevant to municipalities and contractors across Europe.

We were proud to see Kersten UK, our long-standing distributor, demonstrating Eco Weedkiller PRO-series hot water machines as part of the event’s live equipment showcase. The practical application of hot water weed control attracted strong interest as a chemical-free, effective solution — particularly for areas where glyphosate use is no longer desirable or permitted.

The conference emphasized the need for accessible, non-chemical methods that can tackle even the most persistent invasive species. Eco Weedkiller has a proven track record in the treatment of difficult plants such as lupins, Japanese knotweed, and Rosa rugosa, offering municipalities and property managers a safe and scalable alternative.

As more cities move toward pesticide-free maintenance, we’re committed to supporting that shift with reliable, easy-to-use solutions — available both for purchase and rental. It’s encouraging to see this conversation growing internationally, and we’re excited to be part of it.
