Non-toxic invasive species control – a project co-funded by the EU

EWK Finland Oy is currently running a commercialisation project for the control of non-toxic invasive species. Invasive species are spreading everywhere, and their eradication is challenging. An invasive species is a non-native organism that spreads and causes harm to nature, the economy, and human well-being. Invasive species pose a significant risk to biodiversity, food security, human health, and infrastructure, which is why new solutions for their management are being sought. The aim of this EU co-funded development project is to conduct the necessary preliminary studies to support the international commercialisation of our hot-water method for invasive species control.
